Latvian Capt. Raimons Martins (center), from the explosive ordnance disposal school at Adazi Training Area, demonstrates the operation of EOD equipment for a student at Garkalnes School, Latvia, Nov. 11, 2014. The demonstration was part of a community relations outreach to Garkalnes School which included U.S., Norwegian and Latvian troops meeting and interacting with the school children. These activities are part of the U.S. Army Europe-led Operation Atlantic Resolve land force assurance training exercise taking place across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland to enhance multinational interoperability, strengthen relationships among allied militaries, contribute to regional stability and demonstrate U.S. commitment to NATO.
