Members of the 2/8 Cavalry Regiment and 1st Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment, took a break from participating in Exercise Iron Sword nearby to meet local residents as well as their NATO counterparts. Nine NATO countries are participating in the exercise from Nov. 2-14, 2014, which is focused on increased cooperation and interoperability between NATO partners. The multinational exercise, organized by the Lithuanian Land Forces, involves more than 2,500 military personnel.
