An unmanned mini-sub used to clear mines, called a sea fox, is lowered into the Arabian Gulf from the British Royal Navy mine hunter HMS Atherstone (M38) as part of the International Mine Countermeasure Exercise. The exercise includes navies from 44 countries whose focus is to promote security through mine countermeasure operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility and throughout the world.
