Chief Boatswain's Mate Kimberly Ford supervises the deployment of a Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat (RHIB) from the boat deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Gridley (DDG-101). Gridley is deployed in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations supporting Operation Inherent Resolve, strike operations in Iraq and Syria as directed, maritime security operations, and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
