Tech. Sgt. Preston Meier, 99th Ground Combat Training Squadron noncommissioned officer in charge of combat arms, throws a live M-67 fragmentation grenade during the last iteration of the M-67 fragmentation grenade training class Aug. 30, 2014, at Silver Flag Alpha, Nev. Silver Flag is the only Air Force range approved for live hand grenade training and has accommodated the grenade training class since 2011.
