Senior Master Sgt. Matthew Ascione, a guitarist with the Max Impact, the United States Air Force Band, discusses accomplishments of the band's rock ensemble during an orientation tour for Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB) Commander Navy Capt. Frank Mays. In addition to his performance duties, Ascione is the noncommissioned officer of recording production for the band. Originally from Annapolis, Md., his Air Force career began in October 1995.
