Naoya Morita, center, explains discovered cultural assets to members of the Aragusuku Hometown Association Oct. 23 here. The assets were uncovered during a survey being conducted as part of the process of returning parts of U.S. military bases on Okinawa to the Government of Japan. The land return is a part of an effort to continue strengthening the relationship between the U.S. and Japan. Among the assets discovered were paths and a limestone mining area.
