Commander Navy Surface Fleet Atlantic Force Master Chief Jerry Haueter speaks to more than 300 chief petty officers at Naval Station Norfolk's Vista Point Center as the keynote speaker during the base's 116th Chief Petty Officer birthday luncheon. The ceremony and luncheon gave local Chiefs the opportunity to take pause and commemorate the 116th anniversary of the establishment of the rank of Chief Petty Officer on April 1, 1893.
