Petty Officer 2nd Class John Handrahan, assigned to U.S. Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Units 8, and Chief Petty Officer Manny Ybarra, assigned to EODU 2, lower a towed side-scan sonar into Africa's Lake Victoria. Both are forward-deployed to Uganda as part of the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa mission to search for and possibly recover pieces of an Ilyushin 76 cargo plane that crashed into the lake on March 9.
