Sailors aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104) prepare a torpedo to be transported off the ship for maintenance. Sterett is underway in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility as part of the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group. The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70) and its embarked air wing, Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 17, are on deployment in the 7th Fleet area of operations supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
