Aviation Support Equipment Technician 3rd Class Randall Staana and Aviation Support Equipment Technician 3rd Class Rodel Advincula, both assigned to future amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), place tape on the ground as they prepare to paint the basketball court at Bessie Carmichael Middle School during a community relations (COMREL) project. America is currently in San Francisco Bay for the Navy’s 34th annual fleet week. During the visit, the crew is participating in a variety of COMREL projects throughout the Bay area.
