Fernandez, from Orlando, Fla., breakdown an M2HB .50-caliber machine gun on the forecastle of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105) as the ship arrives at Changi Naval Base for a scheduled port visit. Dewey is underway as part of the Carl Vinson Carrier Strike Group.
