The amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LPD 42) transits the Philippine Sea before conducting a replenishment at sea while underway to participate in Amphibious Landing Exercise (PHIBLEX) 2015. The annual bilateral training exercise is conducted by the Armed Forces of the Philippines, U.S. Marines and Navy to strengthen interoperability across a range of capabilities to include disaster relief and contingency operations.
