A Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey, a tilt-rotor aircraft, sits at Air Station San Francisco until the 2014 Fleet Week celebration air show commences on Saturday, Oct. 11 and 12. The Osprey is a unique aircraft that blends the capabilities of a pane and helicopter; this capability makes it versatile in moving troops or supplies in to remote areas without landing strips while conducting long-range rescue missions in less time than a regular helicopter.
