Spc. Alek Stang, a UH-60 Black Hawk crew chief, of Wichita, Kan., 3rd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 227th Aviation Regiment, 1st Air Cavalry Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division, observes the outside of his helicopter as the pilots shut it down. The air crews stopped at the Beaumont Municipal Airport on March 16 for refuel before heading to the Port of Beaumont, where the aircraft will be loaded on a vessel and shipped to Kuwait in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
