    Petty Officer 1st Class Timothy Priebe of USS Nashville steers a Rigid Hull Inflatable Boat during a hydrology survey of the Lagos harbor. Nigerian Sailors and local civilian researchers teamed with the Fleet Survey Team during the cooperative survey. Nashville is on a regularly scheduled deployment to West and Central Africa in support of Africa Partnership Station. APS is an international initiative under the auspices of Naval Forces Africa which aims to work cooperatively with U.S., European and African partners to enhance maritime safety and security for the continent of Africa.
