The 172 Airlift Wing teamed up with The Salvation Army and Y101 to host its third annual Flight to the North Pole. Sixty angel tree children boarded a C-17 Globemaster that simulated landing in the North Pole. When the C-17 doors were lowered, the children were greeted with elves from Santa's workshop. Each child was given his or her Christmas gifts and a bicycle. Pictured with an angel tree child is Marianne Breland, 172 Airlift Wing family coordinator.
