C-17 Globemaster III aircraft from Charleston Air Force Base, S.C., fly over the Morris Island lighthouse after conducting a strategic brigade airdrop exercise over North Auxiliary Airfield, S.C., Dec. 16, 2009. U.S. Army Soldiers from the 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, N.C., were airdropped in the exercise along with cargo pallets to simulate the seizure of a remote airfield, providing a joint training opportunity for the Airmen and Soldiers.
