USS Peleliu (LHA 5) crew members haul a canvas bag containing aircraft crash debris through the ship's well deck where investigators wait to catalog and photograph recovered articles. A mid-air collision between a Marine Corps Cobra helicopter and a Coast Guard transport plane took the lives of nine crew members from both aircraft.
