Butte, Mo. native, Spc. Zach Axtel, a driver in Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 1st "Ironhorse" Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, loads a magazine into his weapon in order to continue providing suppressive fire during the personal security detachment in Kuwait. This training highlighted the basic skills needed for the team to protect the individual they were escorting in any situation.
