Secretary of the Navy (SECNAV) Ray Mabus, accompanied by Capt. Sam Howard, commanding officer of multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5), addresses Bataan Sailors and embarked Marines from the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) during an ìall-hands callî in the shipís hangar bay. Mabus visited the ship as part of his tour of units in U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations. The Bataan Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) is supporting Maritime Security Operations (MSO) in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
