Japan Minister of Defense Akinori Eto, center, observes ongoing construction Sept. 22 during his first visit to Camp Kinser, Marine Corps Installations Pacific. Eto was informed by members of the Okinawa Defense Bureau about Naha Port activities, which he was able to observe from Landing Zone Kinser. Additionally, Eto was able to see current base construction projects and future land return areas during his visit. Col. Edmund J.
