Jason Schmid, a squad leader with 1st Platoon, Able Company, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade and a Buffalo, N.Y., native, taught a class on various types of explosives to his paratroopers Sept. 16 at Brig. Gen. Kazys Vieverskis Kazlu Rudos Training Area, Lithuania. U.S. and Lithuanian Soldiers put their knowledge to use with hands-on training at the range.
