Jesus Gutierrez from Lipan, Texas, both platoon sergeants with 5th Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, learn how to operate an 81mm mortar during a weapons exchange at Ranikhet Cantonment, Uttarakhand, India, Sept. 19, 2014. The weapons exchange is part of exercise Yudh Abhyas 14, am U.S. Army Pacific-sponsored exercise geared toward enhancing cooperation and coordination through training and cultural exchanges, which help build skills and relationships necessary during a peacekeeping operation.
