The Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln's (CVN 72) commanding officer, Capt. Karl Thomas, gives a short motivational speech to Lincoln's soccer team during halftime at the Newport News Patriot Soccer Tournament at Gosnold's Hope Park in Hampton, Va., March 22. This was the first ever Patriot Soccer Tournament which involved Lincoln Sailors, Newport News Shipyard workers and the Newport News Fire and Police Departments.
