Petty Officer 3rd Class Elizabeth J. Miller, a corpsman with Combat Logistics Regiment 25 and native of Boaz, Alabama, poses for a picture in front of the 2nd Marine Logistics Group building September 19, 2014. Larry T. Flesher, an electrical technician and native of Valdosta, Georgia, crashed his car into oncoming traffic the morning of September 12, 2014, while crossing the Sneads Ferry Bridge on his way to work on Camp Lejeune. With the help of two Marines, Miller was able to pull Flesher from his car and perform first aid until the arrival of emergency medical services. Flesher lived thanks to Miller's quick thinking and composure under pressure. Flesher expressed his deep gratitude to Miller when they were reunited, calling her an angel.
