Akifumi Nakahara sign a Memorandum of Agreement between the U.S. Marine Corps, Hokkaido Defense Bureau and Northern Army during Yausubetsu Relocation Training Aug. 20 at the Yausubetsu Maneuver Area, Hokkaido, Japan. The agreement will serve as guidelines for Artillery Relocation Training Program event 14-2, a regularly scheduled training exercise conducted in accordance with prior agreements between the governments of Japan and the U.S. Hayasaka is the director with the local headquarters, Hokkaido Defense Bureau. Owens is the commanding officer of 3rd Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
