Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 7 use an up-armored bulldozer and front end loader to build protective berms for a forward operating base. Building berms is an essential task that provides protection from direct fire from small arms and crew served weapons to alliance forces occupying the forward operating base. NMCB-7 is deployed to Afghanistan providing contingency construction support to alliance forces in support of NATO International Security Assistance Force.
