A local attendee takes a picture of an MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft Sept. 5 at Yokota Airbase during the Japanese-American Friendship Festival. The festival displayed aircraft from both the U.S. military and the Japan Air Self-Defense Force. Marines flew the Osprey from Marine Corps Air Station Futenma to Yokota Sept. 4 to set up for the festival. This year was the first time an Osprey was displayed at the festival. The Marines and Osprey are assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force. (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Cpl.
