Port, a military intelligence operator for 7 MI Bn, 1 ISTA Brigade, and native of Exeter, England, stands ready to place natural camouflage during a placement and concealment class taught by 2nd Intelligence Battalion, II Marine Expeditionary Force, during Exercise Phoenix Odyssey on Sept. 15, 2014. The day’s training focused on the emplacement, concealment and use of ground sensors for intelligence gathering. The two forces have been training in a Military Operations in Urban Terrain facility on Camp Lejeune as part of a week long, scenario driven, bilateral exercise.
