Louisiana Army National Guardsmen Capt. Jason B. Kendall of Shreveport, La., receives congratulations from Maj. Gen. Bennett C. Landreneau, state adjutant general, during a Freedom Salute awards ceremony in honor of the 165th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 139th Regional Support Group, of Bossier City, La., at the Sai Convention Center in Alexandria, La., March 1. The 165th returned from a year-long deployment in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Dec. 24, 2008. The Soldiers and their families attended reintegration training during a weekend stay at the Baymont Inn and Suites.
