Soldiers from First Battalion, 175th Infantry Regiment (Fifth Maryland) parade colors during the 200th anniversary celebration of the March of Defenders at Patterson Park in Baltimore. Five hundred uniformed men and women of the Maryland Army National Guard marched the 6-mile route along the Star-Spangled Banner National Historic Trail that Maryland’s Defenders – the Maryland Militia – marched 200 years ago to defend Baltimore and the nation from the British invasion. The event was held in conjunction with the city's Star-Spangled Spectacular celebrating the 200th anniversary of America's national anthem.
