U.S. President Barack Obama meets with service members and civilians during a visit to U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune. Obama told the audience he plans to begin a withdrawal of U.S. combat troops from Iraq and by August 2010 to have about 50,000 troops in the country to provide training and counter-terrorism operations.
