A chief boatswain's mate (select) from the amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) presents a flag representing this year's Kearsarge chief petty officer selectees to Charlie Trowbridge, commander, New Hampshire American Legion Post 139. Sailors from Kearsarge visited Warner, N.H., home of Mount Kearsarge, the ship's namesake. The two-day visit featured a climb to the mountain's summit, dinner receptions and tours of the town.
