Morse Jr., a methods instructor for 2nd Intelligence Battalion, II Marine Expeditionary Force, and a native of Lansing, N.Y., discusses the scenario with soldiers of the British Army’s 5, 6, and 7 Military Intelligence Battalions, all part of 1 Intelligence Surveillance Target Acquisition Brigade, during a critical and creative thinking application as part of exercise Phoenix Odyssey, Sept. 9, 2014. The application followed a critical and creative thinking class presented by 2nd Intelligence Battalion, II Marine Expeditionary Force. For the first three training days of Phoenix Odyssey, the Marines are presenting their British counterparts with classes on their Structured Analytic Techniques.
