Candidates participating in the 2014 U.S. Army Europe Expert Field Medical Badge event line up for a mid-afternoon snack Sept. 2 at the Grafenwoehr Training Area. Army cooks from around Europe helped boost candidates’ energy during the two-week event that culminated in a graduation ceremony held Sept. 9. The EFMB is a badge earned by military personnel who compete in various physical and written tests that demonstrate their ability to effectively perform medical tasks in a hostile environment.
