Marines with 3rd Platoon, India Company, 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, attached to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, evaluate a role player acting as a downed pilot during a training exercise aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., Aug. 28. The platoon attended a weeklong Tactical Recovery of Aircraft and Personnel course to learn methods for inserting into an unknown area in order to recover classified military equipment and downed personnel.
