Dr. Robert Watson, a guest speaker from Hampton University, talks about the history of African Americans in the Navy and how far their rights as citizens have come during Naval Weapons Station Yorktown's Black History Month celebration, Feb. 25. During the celebration speakers from the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Hampton University and NWS Yorktown spoke about this year's topic "The Quest for Black Citizenship in America" interspersed with performances of dance and song.
