A member of the Decontamination Element of the Ohio National Guard FEMA Region V Homeland Response Force (HRF) waits patiently while another Soldier verifies if they were completely decontaminated after finishing in the mobile decontamination station, July 23, at Camp Atterbury, Indiana. The Decontamination Element of the HRF took part in a simulated disaster training exercise at Camp Atterbury called Vibrant Response. Vibrant Response is a multi-agency training exercise that brings together military and civilian personnel from around that country. During the week-long event, multiple training events are conducted, including simulated mass decontamination operations. If a Soldier still was not completely decontaminated, they would have to repeat the process at the decontamination trailer again until they are contaminate free. (Ohio National Guard photo by Sgt. Brian Johnson.)
