A team of Soldiers with the Search and Extraction team of the Ohio National Guard FEMA Region V Homeland Response Force (HRF) await their next orders, July 23, at Camp Atterbury, Indiana. The Search and Extraction Team is conducting a preliminary reconnaissance of the incident site to see what kinds of resources are needed to attempt search and rescue operations. The Search and Extraction Team is conducting a preliminary reconnaissance of a simulated incident site as part of Operation Vibrant Response 14. Vibrant Response is a yearly disaster response exercise that is conducted at Camp Atterbury and the surrounding area.
