Sergeant Daniel Knight, non-lethal weapons instructor with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South, and a native of Crown Point, Ind., speaks to Peruvian Marines about the less than lethal weapons module at a static display during a tour aboard the future amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6) in Peru, Sept. 1, 2014. The tour consisted of multiple displays showcasing the capabilities the Marines and Sailors with SPMAGTF-South bring to the ship. During the ship’s port visit, the Marines and Sailors also participated in a key leader engagement with Peruvian diplomats and military officials and an evening reception held in the ship’s hangar bay.
