Corporal Jake Steinbuch, the Logistics Combat Element optics chief with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South, and a native of Temecula, Calif., decontaminates his face with water after being sprayed with oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray as part of the final portion of a non-lethal weapons course aboard the future amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), Aug. 28, 2014. Upon completion, participants earned a lifetime certification to carry OC spray. While in transit, Marines and Sailors aboard are taking advantage of training such as this in order to improve upon their military knowledge and tactics. SPMAGTF-South is currently embarked aboard America in support of her maiden transit, "America visits the Americas." (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Cpl. Donald Holbert/ Released)
