Corporal Isiah Morales, water support technician with Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force South, and a native of Mathis, Texas, performs knee strikes after being contaminated with oleoresin capsicum (OC) spray during an OC qualification course aboard the future amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6), Aug. 28, 2014. Participants were required to execute multiple self-defense stations after being sprayed on the forehead before receiving their certification to carry OC. While in transit, Marines and Sailors aboard are taking advantage of training such as this in order to improve upon their military knowledge and tactics. SPMAGTF-South is currently embarked aboard America in support of her maiden transit, "America visits the Americas." (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Cpl. Donald Holbert/ Released)
