Marines move gear from a hangar to a staging area next to the flight line aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, August 22, 2014. Embarkers from both Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 122 and Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron 12 prepared the gear to be loaded and sent to Alaska for VMFA-122’s unit level training at Eielson Air Force Base. VMFA-122, nicknamed the “Werewolves,” trained in Hawaii as part of the unit deployment program with Marine Aircraft Group 12.
