A memorial ceremony was held for Chief Warrant Officer Dan Thomas at Coast Guard Base Los Angeles-Long Beach, Aug. 25, 2014. Thomas, a Maritime Enforcement Specialists with Sector Los Angeles-Long Beach, was killed in a traffic accident on his way to work Aug. 20. He is survived by his wife Michelle and three children.
