Lackadaisically studying his surroundings, Abdulrahman, a 5-year-old Iraqi boy diagnosed with congenital epidermolysis bullosa, a rare skin condition that produces painful sores and blisters and affects one in 5 million people, is carried into the medical center at Camp Mejid, Iraq, by his parents, Feb. 16. Abdulrahman's family traveled from their home in Hit, Iraq, to the medical center to receive medical supplies donated by the University of Cincinnati and instructions on how to provide long-term care to help ease the boy's suffering.
