2nd Lt. Andrew Smith, a native of Leesburg, Va., a platoon leader assigned to Troop B, 5th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Multi-National Division – Baghdad gives a command to his men during a nighttime foot patrol Feb. 16 in the Rusafa district of eastern Baghdad. Paratroopers partnered with Iraqi Police officers during the patrol to check on the area's security.
