U.S. Navy Engineman 1st Class Shamsiddean Williams performs maintenance on a low pressure air compressor in an auxiliary machine room aboard the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19) at an undisclosed location in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility June 7, 2014. The Mesa Verde was part of the Bataan Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, was deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
