First-responders, from across Balad, salute the U.S. flag as it's raised to half-mast during a memorial ceremony honoring fallen firefighter, Staff Sgt. Ray Rangel. Feb. 13 marked the four-year anniversary of Rangel's death. The flag will be retrieved at the end of the duty day and sent to Rangel's family in the U.S.
