Maj. Henry Close, chaplain, takes a moment to reflect on the memorial of fallen firefighter, Staff Sgt. Ray Rangel. Feb. 13 marked the four-year anniversary of Rangel's death. Close gave the opening benediction to the ceremony honoring Rangel. Rangel, a fire emergency services technician, died Feb. 13, 2005, while attempting to save two Soldiers trapped in an overturned humvee in a canal in northern Iraq.
